Job Description

JDE USA, the global luxury tea and coffee brand is seeking an Senior Amazon Channel Manager at our headquarters in Maynard, MA. The Senior Amazon Channel Manager is responsible for growing a line of tea and coffee consumables across Amazon, Walmart, and other marketplaces. This position is responsible for overseeing the strategy, analysis, and operations of the marketplaces businesses and will work closely with Operations, Marketing, Finance, and Customer Experience. The ideal candidate has experience with 3rd party selling models on Amazon and ideally 1st party (vendor). This individual should be a proven strategist with experience in Ecommerce and Amazon. This self-motivated individual is naturally driven to understand the business and find new opportunities in the channels for growth.

Responsibilities

  • Establish strategies for growth and new category expansion on Amazon marketplace. Own the long-term strategic planning and AOP development.
  • Analyze Amazon business to drive revenue growth and profitability while supporting the brand’s premium positioning.
  • Partner with Amazon account managers to develop high impact growth events including DOTD and other merchandising or partnership opportunities.
  • Amazon Advertising Strategy - Collaborate with internal and agency partners on Amazon advertising (PPC, DSP, Video, OTT) to drive revenue and brand growth.
  • Test and Learn - Drive Test and Learn Agenda for the brand to determine the most effective way to reach and convert new Amazon customers.
  • New product opportunities - Analyze our brands' product expansion opportunity on Amazon. Work with Product Development, Supply chain and Marketing to deliver new innovation for brand appropriate opportunities on Amazon.
  • Ensure perfect digital shelf - Coordinate product setup including production of copy, imagery, keywords, attributes, and other product data with internal and external teams. Ensure listings are free of trademark or unauthorized seller activity to maintain the integrity of our brands on Amazon.
  • Inventory - Work with Operations, Analysts, and external agency to maintain proper inventory levels. Oversee POs and shipments to Amazon.
  • Customer Experience - Work with CE team to provide best in class experience and maintain and improve on 98%+ seller rating.
  • Promotional calendar - Develop and own promotional calendar (DOTD, Lightning deals, Coupons) in partnership with marketing and ecommerce teams to drive brand growth, rank and ultimately organic growth.
  • Results - Provide monthly business review to management team.

Qualifications

  • 5-7 years experience in Ecommerce, Amazon 3rd party, 1st party (vendor) and direct to consumer in a brand setting. Experience negotiating vendor terms with Amazon is a bonus.
  • Experience with Amazon advertising tools and strategies for brand growth.
  • Proven Ecommerce strategist with solid understanding of what drives growth in an online business.
  • Growth mindset with a desire to test new ideas to unlock new growth.
  • Excellent data analysis skills and business acumen to turn analysis into insights and recommendations.
  • Passion for Ecommerce and professional curiosity for how things work - to test, improve, and apply learnings where possible.
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment. Upbeat and positive attitude.
  • Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills.
  • P/L management responsibility
  • Proficiency with analytics tools - Microsoft Excel, SQL and Tableau.
  • BA/BS (Marketing, Business, Economics, or related analytics fields a plus)
