Job Description

We are looking for an enthusiastic and detail-oriented HR Payroll Intern to join our Human Resources team starting in June 2025. This is a 6-month internship that offers hands-on experience in various aspects of Policy & Total Rewards.The intern will assist with employee compensation, benefits, payroll processing, and rewards programs, providing an excellent opportunity to gain exposure to HR operations and contribute to a high-performing team.

RESPONSIBILITIES / KEY ACTIVITIES:

  • Prepare confirmation and verification letters for employees.
  • Organize and maintain personal files and other payroll-related documents.
  • Prepare payroll decks and related reports.
  • Create and distribute memos and pamphlets related to payroll and HR matters.
  • Assist associates with resetting their Ramco passwords.
  • Manage AIA enrollments and terminations for employees.
  • Support in organizing payroll-related events, such as SOCSO and insurance briefings.
  • Assist with salary and benefit benchmarking for reward management.
  • Extract data from personal files for scanning and documentation for the Global Cosmos Project.

Qualifications

Here's what we're looking for: 

  • Academic Program: You are enrolled in a Bachelor’s Degree / Master’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or equivalent.
  • Skillset: You possess strong MS Office skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and fluent proficiency in speaking and written English – Having strong attention to detail and accuracy is always a benefit.
  • Personal traits: You have a structured approach, a driven and energetic personality, excellent communication and people skills, and the ability to work both in a team and independently.
  • Commitment: You are ready to dedicate at least 6 months to this internship.
  • Availability: You can join the internship for 5 days per week.
