Job Description

As the Technical Services Manager, you will drive effective management of our coffee machines and equipment to ensure we uphold service agreements with customers. Working within the out of home sales team, you will lend expertise to ensure the most suitable machines and equipment are utilised for optimal performance. This role is based in both our North Sydney office and Kingsgrove roastery, managing a team of five specialists across technical services and support. Are you up for this challenge? 

In this role, you will:

  • Manage a team of Service Specialists for machine installations, technical services support, training, spare parts warehousing, and equipment supply and demand planning
  • Monitor financial performance for the technical services budget and implement cost-effective solutions where appropriate while maintaining service excellence
  • Manage third-party technical service supplier relationships, including contract management, ensuring service level agreements are being met
  • Collaborate with our out of home sales team on equipment strategy and portfolio selection
  • Manage equipment and spare parts inventory

Qualifications

  • You hold at least 7 years’ experience in a similar position, with a focus on providing a high level of customer service 
  • Experience working with coffee equipment will be highly regarded
  • Experience working closely with an out of home sales team will be highly regarded
  • You are analytical with the ability to build and deliver strategy
  • You have experience managing a budget, with experience implementing cost-effective solutions
